One baby log for the whole family — and a handoff for every shift
Everyone who cares for your baby, on the same page — literally. Invite once, choose what each person can do, and start every shift with a handoff.
Cocoon shares one live log with everyone you invite — a partner, grandparent, nanny or daycare. Invites go by link (they expire after 7 days), with three access levels: admin, caregiver (log and view) and view-only. A Today handoff page shows time since the last feed, sleep and nappy and everything logged today, ready to share with whoever's next.

What it does
Invite someone by link — Share, Copy or a ready-made email — and choose their access: Admin (log, view and invite others), Caregiver (log and view) or View-only, ideal for a grandparent who wants to follow along. Admins can change someone's access, remove them or revoke a pending invite.
The Today handoff is one page for whoever's coming on: time since the last feed, since waking and since the last nappy, today's totals, and every entry from the day. Share or copy it into a message.
Two parents timing the same nap? The second is caught — “Already logged on another device — kept theirs”. A note appears when someone else logs, and everything works offline, syncing when you're back online.
How it works
- Create a free account (the first baby needs none to start).
- On the Care tab, tap Invite a caregiver and choose their access.
- Send the link; they open it and see the same log.
- Open Today handoff at the start of each shift.
The details
- Three access levels: Admin, Caregiver, View-only
- Invite links expire after 7 days; revoke any time
- Several children, switched from the Care tab
- Duplicate-nap guard across devices
- “Sharing the care” shows who logged what
- Each person's private notes stay private
Common questions
Can two parents use Cocoon on different phones?
Yes. Invite your partner and you both log to the same live record from your own phones, even offline. If you both time the same nap, the second is caught so it isn't double-logged.
Can a grandparent see the log without changing it?
Yes. Choose View-only when you invite them: they can see records but not edit them.
Does Cocoon work for a nanny or daycare?
Yes. Invite them as a Caregiver so they can log, and use the Today handoff at pick-up and drop-off. You can remove their access at any time.
Can I track more than one child?
Yes. Add a second child with a free account and switch between children on the Care tab.

Sharing the load with a partner/support
Caring for a newborn was never meant to be a solo job — sharing the load protects everyone's wellbeing, including the baby's.
Feeding when returning to work
Heading back to work doesn't have to mean the end of breastfeeding — with a little planning, a buffer of milk, and some flexibility, you and your baby can find a rhythm that works.
Coping with sleep deprivation
Broken sleep with a newborn is exhausting but temporary, and small changes can help you get through the hardest nights.
Building a flexible daily rhythm
A gentle, cue-led rhythm gives your day shape without locking you into a clock-watching schedule.
