How to move from Baby Daybook to Cocoon

Export your data from Baby Daybook, then open app.getcocoonapp.com/import on a computer — or Import data in the app — and add the file. Cocoon recognises it as Baby Daybook, shows a preview, skips duplicates and brings across breastfeeds, bottles, sleep, nappies, pumping, solids, growth measurements, temperatures and medicines.
What you need
A CSV file.
Step 1 — export from Baby Daybook
- In Baby Daybook, tap your baby's profile or avatar.
- Open the menu and choose Export Data (or Backup & Export).
- Pick CSV, then save it or email it to yourself and upload it to Cocoon.
Step 2 — import into Cocoon
- On a computer, open app.getcocoonapp.com/import and sign in with the same account (or open Settings → Data & privacy → Import data on your phone).
- Drag your export file in, choose it, or paste from the clipboard. Cocoon detects which app it came from.
- Check the preview: what was found, which day each entry will be filed on, and whether dates were written day-first or month-first.
- Confirm. Duplicates are skipped, anything that couldn't be read is listed, and you can undo the whole import straight afterwards.
- Everything syncs to your phone and to the caregivers you share with.
