How can we help?
Answers to the questions parents ask most, and a real person when you need one. Email support@getcocoonapp.com: we're a small team in Australia and we read every message.
Do I need an account?
No. You can set up your baby and log on your phone without one. A free account adds backup, sync across your devices, the caregivers you invite, a second child, and the AI features.
How do I share the log with my partner or a caregiver?
Sign in, open Family and tap Invite a caregiver. Choose whether they can log or only view, then share the link. They open it, create a free account and see the same live log.
Where are the widgets, the Lock Screen timer and Siri?
In the app, go to Settings → Widgets, Lock Screen & Siri. It shows the exact steps for your phone, and the phrases Siri understands.
Can I bring my history from another app?
Yes. Huckleberry, Baby Daybook, Cubtale, Nara Baby, Baby Connect, Baby Tracker, Day One, Apple Journal and CSV files all import. It's easiest from a computer at app.getcocoonapp.com/import, and see the import guide for each app's export steps.
How do the AI features use my data?
They're optional. Before anything is sent, Cocoon asks you, names our AI provider (Anthropic, maker of Claude) and lists what each feature sends. You can turn them off any time in Settings → Data & privacy → AI features. Replies aren't medical advice.
How do I get a copy of everything?
Settings → Data & privacy → Backup & account controls → Export everything. It makes one file with every log, growth measurement and journal entry, plus your photos and videos, which you can restore on any device.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Data & privacy → Profile & account → Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. It removes your account and the records of any child only you manage. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm, so Cocoon's access to your Apple Account is removed too. Can't open the app? Email privacy@getcocoonapp.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.
Something isn't working. What should I send?
Tell us your phone, its iOS or Android version, and what you did just before it went wrong. A screenshot helps. Please don't send your child's health details by email.
Is Cocoon medical advice?
No. Cocoon is for observation and context, not medical advice, and it isn't a medical device. For any concern about your child, talk with your doctor or child-health nurse, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
