Log by voice, widget, Lock Screen or Siri

For when both hands are full: speak it, tap it from the Lock Screen, or ask Siri. Timers and the next window are always one glance away.

In short

Cocoon logs by voice from the mic on Home (“wet nappy”, “start nap”, “120 ml formula bottle”) using your phone's own speech recognition, with no audio kept. On iPhone, Siri can start and stop feeds and naps and log a nappy or bottle; timers run on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island; and a widget shows the running timer, the last feed and the next window. Android has a widget and a timer notification with Pause and Stop.

What it does

Tap the mic on Home and say it: “started feeding on the left”, “120 ml formula bottle”, “fell asleep 20 minutes ago”, “wet nappy”, “gave paracetamol”. Cocoon uses your phone's own speech recognition, keeps no audio, and always shows the entry back to confirm, with Undo.

On iPhone and iPad, the Active care widget (Home Screen and Lock Screen sizes) shows the running timer with Pause, Resume and Stop, the last feed and nappy, and the next usual window, plus quick chips to start a feed, log a nappy or start a nap. Nursing, pumping, naps, night sleep and the Feed-safe countdown run as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. A privacy mode hides your baby's name.

Siri understands “Start a left feed in Cocoon”, “Stop the feed in Cocoon”, “Start a nap in Cocoon”, “Baby's awake in Cocoon”, “Log a wet nappy in Cocoon” and “Log a bottle in Cocoon” — even with the phone locked, timed to the moment you spoke.

On Android, a resizable Active care widget and an ongoing timer notification with Pause and Stop do the same job, and the notification comes back after a restart. Reminders — for running timers, the usual feed or nap, medicines, milk expiry and Feed-safe — respect quiet hours (9pm to 7am by default), except medicines and Feed-safe, which are never held back.

How it works

  1. Voice: tap the mic on Home and speak; confirm what Cocoon heard.
  2. Widgets: add the Cocoon Active care widget from your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
  3. Siri: say “Start a nap in Cocoon” — no setup needed.
  4. Find setup help in Settings → Widgets, Lock Screen & Siri.

The details

  • Voice logging for feeds, bottles, pumping, sleep, nappies, solids, medicines, temperature and activities

  • Android: resizable widget and timer notification with Pause and Stop
  • Lock-screen privacy option and quiet hours for reminders
  • “Diaper” in the US and Canada, everywhere including Siri

Common questions

Can I log a feed with Siri?

Yes, on iPhone. Say “Start a left feed in Cocoon” or “Start a feed in Cocoon”, and “Stop the feed in Cocoon” when you're done. Siri also starts and stops naps and logs a nappy or a bottle.

Does Cocoon have a Lock Screen timer?

Yes. On iPhone, nursing, pumping, naps, night sleep and the Feed-safe countdown run as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. On Android, an ongoing notification shows the timer with Pause and Stop.

Does voice logging record my voice?

No audio is kept. Cocoon uses your phone's own speech recognition, shows you what it understood and only logs once you confirm.

Is there a Cocoon widget?

Yes — the Active care widget on iPhone and iPad (Home Screen and Lock Screen) and a resizable widget on Android, showing the running timer, the last feed and nappy and the next usual window.
