Bring your history with you

Moving from another baby tracker? Import your feeds, sleeps, nappies, pumping, growth, temperatures and medications — so switching doesn't mean starting over. Importing the same file twice is safe; Cocoon skips duplicates.

Step 1 — export your data

Get your file out of your old app

Each app puts its export in a slightly different place. Here's exactly where to look.

From Huckleberry

  1. In Huckleberry, open your child's profile.
  2. Choose Export tracking data as CSV.
  3. Huckleberry emails you the file — open it on a computer, then upload it to Cocoon.

From Baby Daybook

  1. In Baby Daybook, tap your baby's profile or avatar.
  2. Open the menu and choose Export Data (or Backup & Export).
  3. Pick CSV, then save it or email it to yourself and upload it to Cocoon.

From Cubtale

  1. In Cubtale, go to Reports.
  2. Open All Log Data and export it as CSV.
  3. Save or email the file, then upload it to Cocoon.

Exporting data requires a Cubtale Premium subscription.

From Nara Baby

  1. In Nara Baby, open Settings (or your baby's profile).
  2. Choose Export data and pick CSV.
  3. Email it to yourself or save it, then upload it to Cocoon.

Also supported: Baby Connect, Baby Tracker, Day One, Apple Journal, your camera roll, and standard CSV files.

Step 2 — upload to Cocoon

Two easy ways in

Cocoon reads the file, shows you a preview of what it found, and only imports once you confirm.

On a computer (easiest)

Exports usually arrive by email or land in your Downloads folder, which are simplest to reach on a laptop. Open app.getcocoonapp.com/import, sign in with the same account, and drag the file in — or click to choose it.

It syncs back to your phone

An import on your computer writes to the same account, so every feed, nap and nappy shows up in the app on your phone automatically. No cables, no re-typing.

Or straight from the app

You can also import right inside Cocoon on your phone: open Import data, pick the app you're coming from, and choose your file.

Everything you import lands on the child you're viewing, stays on your device, then syncs like everything else.
