Baby milestone tracker with the CDC checklist
Milestones as ranges, not deadlines: the CDC checklist, a gentle “This week” card on Home, and every first saved to the journal.
Cocoon includes the CDC “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” milestone checklist — 50 milestones at 12 ages from 2 months to 5 years, across social, language, thinking and movement. A “This week” development card on Home uses corrected age for premature babies, and ticked milestones sit in the journal beside the photo.

What it does
The milestone checklist follows the CDC's 2022 “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” list: 50 milestones at 12 ages from 2 months to 5 years, across social and emotional, language, thinking and movement.
A “This week” development card on Home shows what's typical around now — using corrected age for premature babies — and can mention developmental “leaps”, clearly labelled as a popular framework rather than a prediction.
Tick a milestone and it's saved with the date, and can carry a photo in the journal. Milestones also appear in the checkup report and the weekly digest.
How it works
- Open Care → Milestones & development for the checklist at your baby's age.
- Tick milestones as they happen; add a photo or note.
- Glance at the This week card on Home.
- Bring the list to your next check-up in the checkup report.

The CDC's “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” checklist (2022, developed with the AAP): 50 milestones at 12 ages from 2 months to 5 years.
Does Cocoon adjust milestones for premature babies?
Yes. With a due date entered, the This week card and milestone ages use corrected age.
What if my baby hasn't reached a milestone yet?
Milestones are ranges. Cocoon never marks a baby as behind; if something worries you, it points you to your GP or child-health nurse.
