Cocoon summarises public guidance in plain language and links to the supporting source. Each guide shows when its sources were checked and the country or region they cover.
Sources include public health agencies, hospitals and professional organisations. A citation identifies the basis for general information; it does not mean that the source endorses Cocoon or has validated its personalised estimates.
The current guides have not been independently clinically reviewed. Source checks are editorial checks. For a decision about your child's health, use your clinician's advice and the original local guidance.
What this byline identifies
This is the publishing organisation responsible for Cocoon's summaries, not an individual clinician's profile. Cocoon also makes the tracker linked from these pages, so it has a commercial interest in the product. The editorial policy explains source selection, AI assistance, corrections and that relationship.
Trace a claim to its source
Start with the source attached to the point you want to check. Confirm the guidance region and read the original page in context. A source-check date records an editorial check; an article-update date can also reflect a changed example or explanation.
Help us correct a specific problem
Email support@getcocoonapp.com with the page URL, the sentence you think needs changing and a relevant source if you have one. Leave private family records out of the message. This contact handles website corrections, not clinical questions or urgent care.
Cocoon's guides are general information, not medical advice, and not a medical device. For concerns about your child, talk with your doctor or child-health nurse.
