Cocoon is offline-first and private by design: you can start without an account, everything saves on your phone first, and a free account adds backup and sync. Records are protected by row-level security so only your family can see them, encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold and never used for ads. Export everything — logs, growth, photos and videos — in one file that restores on any device.

What it does

Start without an account: set up your baby and log straight away, entirely on your phone. A free account adds backup, sync across your devices, the caregivers you invite, a second child and the optional AI features.

Each family can only ever see its own records — enforced by row-level security on the server — and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos are served through signed links that expire. There are no ads, no third-party analytics in the app, and crash reports are scrubbed of anything identifying.

Export everything makes one file per child with every log, growth measurement and journal entry, plus photos and videos, which restores on any device. Delete your account in the app and it's gone. The Feed-safe timer, mood check-ins and private notes never leave your device at all.

  2. Add a free account for backup and sharing (Apple, Google or email).
  3. Settings → Data & privacy → Backup & account controls → Export everything.
  4. Settings → Data & privacy → Profile & account → Delete account, any time.

Do I need an account to use Cocoon?

Can I export all my baby's data, including photos?

Yes. Export everything creates one file per child with every log, growth measurement and journal entry, plus photos and videos (up to 25 MB per item and 150 MB in total), which restores on any device.

Does Cocoon sell my data or show ads?

No. Cocoon shows no ads, never sells your data, and your child's logs, photos and journal are never used for advertising.
